Made primarily with iron oxides & mica, these colors are intensly pigmented and highly concentrated, so just a little goes a very long way! It is important to have a really great makeup brush. I tried the drug store brands because they were less expensive...I discovered that you really do get what you pay for!

With a professional makeup brush, you get quality bristles. With mineral makeup in particular, the bristles are very important! If you don't have quality bristles, the minerals can't be tucked inside the brush, and basically what will happen is that your minerals will just fall out between the jar lid & your face...all over the sink!

It is worth the investment to start out with the best brushes possible and with the proper care they will last at least for a couple of years!
